HOSMER POND: Ice structure is deteriorating. Ice depth unknown. Open water near streams and along edge of pond. Pond travel strongly discouraged.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
 Today is the end of our season. Overall we think it was a good season even though we haven't had any appreciable snow in several weeks. It started out cold and snowy and fortunately the snow held up well through the long snow drought and rainstorms later in the season. Thanks for skiing, riding, tubing and tobogganing with us this winter! Please check out our website and calendar for warm weather activities at the Ragged Mountain Recreation Area and sign up for our newsletter to receive occassional updates. There will be many days this summer and fall when we will be running the chairlift for hikers and mountain bikers. There are several community events scheduled including two concerts. Have a great off-season!
