History of the Camden Snow Bowl

based on histories by Barbara Dyer and Jack Williams

Camden Snow Bowl 1944. Evelyn Thompson Howard, Alberta Kleeberg, Lois Lyman,
Barbara Dyer (THE Barbara Dyer), Dorothy Munroe

The Snow Bowl was developed by many warm-hearted and willing workers with one goal in mind. In the year of 1936, in spite of the "Great Depression," with money being so scarce in the small town of Camden, a group of residents gathered together and a place of winter recreation emerged.

For the readers of the article who were not in Camden then or were here but want those old memories rekindled that have dimmed with the passing of 56 years, the following story is written.
