Camden Parks & Recreation

The Camden Parks and Recreation Department manages and/or maintains more than 700 acres of town property and several facilities, including parks and numerous trailheads, overlooks, sections of the Riverwalk, the (former) tannery property, various boat launches, and the Camden Snow Bowl facility and grounds.

Frequently Asked Questions

1Do I need my season pass with me to ski?
Yes, you must have it with you. Season passes are not transferable.
2Do I need a lift ticket if I'm not skiing, but on the mountain?
Yes, for insurance reasons, anyone on the mountain needs at least a $10 uphill pass. This includes the SLIPWAY and lower mountain areas.
3Can I hike up the mountain when the Snowbowl is closed?
Not sure?
4Are there lockers available to store my belongings?
There are some lockers available, rented on a season basis. Additionally, there are open cubbies in the lodge and on the deck that are available. The snowbowl is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
5Are dogs allowed on Ragged Mountain?
No, pets are only permitted in the parking lot and deck areas. No pets inside the lodge at any time.
6Do you have free parking?
Yes, all parking is free except during certain events.
