Group Mountain Bike Rides

Wednesday in the Woods
Freewheeling Fridays

The Camden Snow Bowl is inviting mountain bikers of all ages and abilities to hit the trails this summer through two weekly community ride programs designed to build skills, foster connections, and celebrate the region’s growing mountain biking community.

Rides depart from the lodge at 6pm. Wednesday night rides are guided by Sidecountry Sports and Friday night rides are guided by MCNEMBA (Mid Coast Chapter of the New England Mountain Bike Association).

Beginner Groups will focus on fun, skill-building, and easy trails in a supportive, no-pressure environment. Riders who are new to mountain biking or looking to build confidence on the trails are encouraged to join. Intermediate and Advanced Groups will tackle more challenging terrain, faster-paced riding, and advanced trail features, providing opportunities for experienced riders to push their skills and fitness.

Following each ride, participants are encouraged to gather at Snow Dogs inside the lodge for food, drinks, and post-ride camaraderie.

Riders should arrive with a properly functioning mountain bike, helmet, water, and any personal riding gear they may need. Want to join but don't have a mountain bike? Sidecountry Sports will be open at the Camden Snow Bowl Trailside location during group rides, and hard tail, full suspension and e-mountain bikes will be available for riders to rent. Reservations are required. Please visit Sidecountry's website to see what bikes are available, make a reservation, or call them at 207-701-5100 for more information.
